Wilmslow is a shopper’s paradise. From designer boutiques like Black White Denim and upmarket interior designers, to chic charity shops and Hoopers department store, Wilmslow is a small place with a big attitude.

Foodies won’t be disappointed either. Take your pick from fine Italian dining at celebrity favourite CIBO, brunch and small plates from Suburban Green or Smoke or for more exotic tastes try Zumuku Sushi or Potyo Coastal Indian. For those with a sweet tooth try Gail's who recently opened their first store in the north of England here or Buzzy bee bakery.

After you’ve feasted, take a stroll along through the picturesque Carrs Park right in the heart of the town centre or the River Bollin towards Styal Village and Quarry Bank Mill. Quarry Bank Mill is one of the best-preserved textile mills of the Industrial Revolution, and the evocative Victorian apprentice house was home to hundreds of young children who were sent to work in the mill.

Make a night of it with a visit to the newly refurbish boutique cinema The Rex or a visit to one of the many great traditional pubs like The Coach and Four or the King William. If it's something more up tempo you're after try The Grove or Anthology, then dance the night away at Revolution or Symposium nightclub.

The restaurant is an independent pizzeria, famous for its authentic wood fired Neapolitan pizzas.

After years of hard work and long hours in the restaurant industry the owners decided to leave it all behind and start a street food business. They are truly passionate (some say obsessed…) with pizzas and wood fired pizza is the best of the best. They took every bit of experience from some of the best Italian restaurants, combined with trips to Italy studying from the best pizzaiolos, and combined them all to create the perfect menu. This is a ‘Bring Your Own’ venue.

The Rex is situated in an Art Deco building. The family who owns the cinema are film enthusiast who have rejuvenated four cinemas in small towns in the hope of restoring them to the heart of the community. It’s an excellent family run venue, where you can even hire it for private parties. They are currently reducing their use of single use plastic, they buy their food locally, and serve tea and cake! What more could you ask for? Always with a great selection of films of course and comfy seats and sofa’s.
